Gaga over Lady Gaga

Come to think of it, Lady Gaga is fast becoming a case study for all marketing professionals around the world. Lady Gaga known for her quirkiness, unpredictability and outrageous choice of clothes, makes her lead the pack. She is able to mix her music with all these that connects her with her audience. At the recent Grammy’s function, Lady Gaga made a dramatic entry, emerging from an egg. Previously at the MTV awards she came up with a meat dress. She wrapped steak around herself from head to toe including a little evening bag. That made the world spin a little faster. Now when the PETA were crying hoarse about the outfit few months ago, she has now been signed by the very agency to represent PETA’s cause. Now that is smart marketing.

The youth icons has been able to identify the desire of their target audience and she is doing everything to fulfill those desires through a perfectly crafted, staged, managed and sustained image.
